We have dates scattered and booked a month or two in advance with most people preferring weekends. What this means for you: we can likely get you in sooner if it is something quick and easy, compared to something that takes time (like drum tracking).
If you need a weekday, we can book you within 2 weeks. If you need a weekend, it could be 2 weeks or it could be 4.
Time passes quickly, so spend the time tightening up your music!
-
Yes. 2 hours per song are charged during the mixing and mastering stage.
-
Yes, but only for drum editing. 2 hours per song are charged after drums are tracked and before guitars begin tracking.

Yes! We have lots of ideas on where we can tighten up your songs and help polish them off. You can’t get this service at any studio.
You always have the final say. If you don’t like a suggestion, no problem! We won’t do it.
Drums: You might need fills that don’t yet exist, blast beats that would hit a little harder, or triplet patterns instead of doubles.
Guitars: Tight palm mutes might work better than drawn out chugs, or maybe that a harmony should be played on one of the riffs. Could that solo or lead be placed in an empty part of the song?
Bass: Some slaps might really help a part stand out. Maybe a change in rhythm, or maybe we just need a slide into that chorus.
Instrumentals: We’ve got never-ending ideas if you're willing to try them out.
Vocals: We help create melodies and change up patterns or pitches. Whatever needs to be done to make a song hit harder…or sound sweeter…it should be done.

Yes! Anything from Smooth Jazz to Pop to Black Metal.

On average, 6-8 hours of work total for rock and metal bands. This also includes 2 hours of drum editing, mixing, and mastering. Some bands work a little slower and some work a little faster.
Please do NOT come in the studio trying to get work done far faster than the average band. We don’t serve caviar on a Kool-Aid budget.

Please give as much advance notice of a cancellation as possible. If you cancel within 36 hours of your booked date, you will be charged a $100 no-show fee.
If you cancel too often, we will no longer be willing to work with you.

Great to have you here! Corporate sessions follow a slightly different billing structure to ensure your project gets the full focus and care it deserves. These sessions are billed in half-day (4-hour) increments, and if your session runs beyond 4 hours, it’s billed as a full day (8 hours).
Here's why: Corporate projects often involve faster turnarounds (often same-day delivery), more deliverables, and unique circumstances that require immediate attention to detail. This structure allows me to dedicate the time and resources needed to produce a polished, professional product that’s perfect for representing your company and brand.
When it comes to corporate work, nothing short of excellence will do—and this approach ensures your project reflects the quality and professionalism your brand deserves.

For guitarists: Bring your guitars and any pre-amp pedals you have. We don’t need your head or your cab until one of the final sessions of recording. Please have new strings!
For bassists: Bring your bass and any pre-amp pedals you may have. Please have new strings!
For drummers: Bring your kit in its entirety, well tuned and with a good set of heads that are not worn out. Alternatively, the studio drumset is available, but you must bring your own pedals, throne, cymbals, snare and sticks. If you are an excessively hard hitter, please use your own drumkit.

Guitars require maintenance by professionals: typically this means action and intonation adjustments every year. If the guitar has not been intonated correctly, it will never sound in tune at the higher frets, and in the worst cases, it will sound bad even at the lower frets.
We charge $40 to intonate guitars and to do minor action work.
IMPORTANT: We will not record your guitar if it has not been intonated. Intonation MUST happen before tracking, no exceptions.

Not at all! That's what they are there for. Please handle the instruments with respect.

You may smoke outside, but please be sure to put your cigarette butts out and dispose of them properly (no littering).
You may drink in and out of the studio. Please clean up after yourself. BYOB.
